Fall Trash Bash
One of Little Casa View Neighborhood Association’s primary goals is to support the beautification of our neighborhood.
Each year, we gather in the Spring and in the Fall to do a large-scale community trash clean up. We will travel in small groups throughout the neighborhood, collecting and disposing of trash found on the streets, sidewalks and yards.
The more participation we have, the greater the impact! We hope you’ll join us on September 21st!
National Night Out
You’re Invited!
Join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1st from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM inside the Casa View Shopping Center outdoor atrium (located at Gus Thomasson & Ferguson).
National Night Out (NNO) is a nationally recognized, annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
This will serve as an opportunity to build community among our neighbors and to connect with Little Casa View and far east Dallas businesses and organizations.
If you or your business are interested in sponsoring the event through a donation (monetary or in-kind), or by participating in the event with a vendor booth, please complete this form and return by email to LittleCasaView@gmail.com no later than September 13th. 
Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) Training Session
The Dallas Police Department is hosting an official VIP (Volunteers in Patrol) training session on Saturday, August 31st at the Lochwood Library (Address: 11221 Lochwood Blvd, Dallas, TX 75218). The training will last from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
After completing the formal training, residents may become VIP patrol volunteers. VIP members patrol our local community, assessing the area for safety concerns and helping to prevent crime. Volunteers travel in pairs.

According to the Dallas Police Department: “VIP groups are designed to provide a means for citizens to organize into patrol groups for the purpose of being visible in their community. The value of police-citizen cooperation is well illustrated by the success of Citizen Patrol programs nationwide.
VIP allows citizens to have an active part in combating crime in their patrol area. VIP helps citizens achieve a safer neighborhood through heightened emphasis on citizen involvement in crime prevention. VIP supplements detection and reporting of suspicious persons and activities to the police department. VIP shows a presence of law-abiding citizens patrolling the streets throughout the City of Dallas.”

General Association Meeting
Join us for our quarterly general membership meeting.
Little Casa View Neighborhood Association board members will provide an overview of the association’s budget, upcoming events, neighborhood needs and projects underway. We will hear from local Dallas police and code officers as well as a guest speaker that varies each quarter.
Cops, Code and Cuisine
Join us for a quarterly meeting with our local police and city code department for a discuss about the needs of our neighborhood. City representatives will be available to share updates, answer questions and educate our neighbors about city code and law enforcement.
Front Yard Social
Join us for our ongoing series of Summer Yard Socials. The last one of the season will be Friday, June 28th at 1802 Pat Drive.
